Builders of the Planet

Is a Program at Sagrada Familia School is designed to educate and raise awareness among our students about the importance of caring for the environment through sustainable practices. In this program, children learn to recycle, reuse and reduce, developing responsible habits that positively impact their community and the world.

Through interactive activities, creative projects and educational workshops, students discover how their actions can contribute to a cleaner and healthier planet. They are taught to properly separate and recycle materials such as paper, plastic and glass, to give a second life to everyday objects through reuse and to minimize waste by applying reduction in their daily consumption.

Additionally, as part of the commitment to sustainability, a hydroponic system has been implemented at the school, which is supervised by the students themselves. This project not only teaches them about innovative soil-less cultivation methods, but also fosters their responsibility, patience and appreciation for caring for natural resources.

The program also fosters leadership and a sense of social responsibility, motivating children to become agents of change within their homes and communities. With “Builders of the Planet,” we are training a new generation committed to sustainability and respect for the environment.
